Deacon Dave Licata resides in Jupiter after relocating from New Jersey in 2006.

Deacon Dave was ordained on September 10, 2016 at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola. Prior to his ordination, he studied at Saint Vincent De Paul Seminary in Boynton Beach, Florida. During the five formation years at the seminary, he was continuously active on the altar here at St. Peter and additionally took personal interest in many of the ministries and functions that have contributed to making our parish welcome to all who enter its doors.

Deacon Dave lost his wife Carol in May 2023 after a battle with cancer. The Licata’s have six grown children who are now all out of the nest

 

Prior to accepting the vocation of diaconate, Deacon Dave, devoted all his time in the business world, and initiated a startup food service company in Sussex, New Jersey.

 

His future outlook as deacon is simply to be available to the parishioners at St. Peter, and as he is charged to do…bring souls to Christ.
